Cantor Fitzgerald Europe Appoints Philip Dixon as Chief Operating Officer

NEW YORK and LONDON, June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald Europe ("CFE"), a leading global financial services firm, today announced the appointment of Philip Dixon as Chief Operating Officer.   Mr. Dixon will oversee CFE's business support functions, management information systems and budgeting, and will further align Cantor's growth and innovation with industry leading operational practice.

Mr. Dixon previously served as main board director, COO and Compliance Officer at Hume Capital Securities.  Prior to this, he was Finance Director and Compliance Officer at Nomura Code Securities, responsible for firm-wide business support functions.  In addition, Mr. Dixon was a founding member of Code Securities, which was later acquired by Nomura Group.  Earlier, he was Finance Director at Panmure Gordon, and CFO of WestLB Panmure.  Mr. Dixon holds a BA in Economics from Leeds University.
