Cantor Fitzgerald Continues to Build Equity Research Team with Three Hires
NEW YORK, Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading financial services firm, today announced the expansion of the Equity Research team with the appointment of David Chiaverini, CFA, Bryan Brokmeier, CFA, and Brad Carpenter, CFA. Mr. Chiaverini will serve as a senior equity research analyst, covering diversified financial and business development companies (BDCs). Mr. Brokmeier joins as a senior equity research analyst and will focus on the Life Science Tools and Diagnostics sector. Mr. Carpenter joins as a research analyst to expand research coverage into the Energy vertical, specifically U.S. Exploration and Production (E&P) companies.

Before joining Cantor, Mr. Chiaverini was a Senior Analyst at BMO Capital Markets covering diversified financials. Prior to BMO, he was a Senior Analyst at Advest, a research associate at CIBC World Markets and an investment banking analyst at Piper Jaffray. Mr. Chiaverini holds a BS from Lehigh University and is a CFA charterholder.
Prior to joining Cantor, Mr. Brokmeier was a senior Healthcare analyst at Maxim Group, LLC where he covered the Life Science Tools and Diagnostics sector. In 2014, Mr. Brokmeier was ranked the #3 stock picker in the Life Science Tools and Services category by Thomson Reuters StarMine. Before that, Mr. Brokmeier held senior research associate positions within Maxim and Credit Suisse, LLC. Mr. Brokmeier received an MBA from Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and a BS in Finance and Applied Economics from Ithaca College, and is a CFA charterholder.
Previously, Mr. Carpenter held Energy sector roles in the Investment Banking Energy Group at Citigroup and the Equity Research team at Wells Fargo Securities. Prior to that, Mr. Carpenter served as a corporate credit analyst at Income Research & Management, with a focus on high grade issuers within the Energy, Technology, Media and Telecom, and Aerospace and Defense sectors. Mr. Carpenter received a MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA in Economics from Bucknell University, and is a CFA charterholder.
