Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Expands its Municipal Sales and Trading Team

NEW YORK, Jan. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading global financial services firm, announced the continued expansion of its Debt Capital Markets Municipal Bond Division.  Frank Hammond, formerly of J.P. Morgan, Kevin Conrad, formerly of Vining Sparks and John Dwyer, formerly of Stifel Nicolaus have joined the group, and will focus on growing the firm's Municipal sales and trading business. They report to Jim Dolan, Managing Director and Head of the Municipal Division.

Mr. Hammond joins as a Managing Director focused on institutional sales and structured products. As Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, he was responsible for institutional sales, and also held tax auditing positions at Arthur Andersen. Mr. Hammond holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Conrad joins as Director focused on municipal bond sales.  As Senior Vice President at Vining Sparks, he managed sales for the municipal bond department, and also held senior sales roles at Griffin, Kubik, Stephens & Thompson Inc., now known as BMO Capital Markets. Mr. Conrad holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Dayton.

Mr. Dwyer joins as Vice President, focused on maintaining client and investor relationships for the group. As a Director at Stifel Nicolaus, he managed institutional and investor relationships and previously served at Northeast Securities and Asch Dwyer Municipal Securities, where he was a founding partner. Mr. Dwyer holds a B.A. from St. Francis College.
