Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Continues to Expand Its Credit Fixed Income Team
NEW YORK, Jan. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading global financial services firm, announced today key appointments of several seasoned professionals in the firm's high yield, investment grade and research groups as it continues to build out its global Credit Fixed Income platform and capabilities. These individuals, who will report to Adam Vengrow and David Pichler, co-heads of the Credit Fixed Income department, bring the number of new hires in Cantor's Credit Fixed Income business to over 50 since January 2010.

The new members of Cantor's team include:
High Yield
Jack Oestreicher joins Cantor as a Managing Director in High Yield and Distressed. Prior to that, Mr. Oestreicher was a Managing Director for Distressed Sales & Trading covering distressed hedge funds focused on distressed securities at The Royal Bank of Scotland, PLC. Previously, he served as a Managing Director in High Yield and Distressed Sales & Trading at Bear Stearns & Co. where his primary coverage of hedge funds focused on bank debt. Earlier, he served with The Delaware Bay Company in Distressed Sales, Trading and Sourcing.
Rob Barrett joins as a Managing Director in Trading and Sales at Cantor. Most recently, Mr. Barrett served as a Managing Director in High Yield Sales & Trading at BNP Paribas. Earlier, he spent over 20 years at JP Morgan in Corporate Bond Trading.
Investment Grade
Scott Sodokoff joins Cantor as a Managing Director on the credit trading team responsible for Energy, Utility, Project Finance, Aircraft and Military Housing trading. He served as a Managing Director, Desk Head and Trader in the Institutional Taxable Fixed Income Services Group at Piper Jaffray with a trading focus in Secured Aircraft, Project Finance, Military Housing, Infrastructure Finance, and Credit. Earlier, he worked at Bear Stearns & Co., as a Managing Director where his team initiated a new business line including private placements and special situations. Mr. Sodokoff previously worked at UBS Investment Bank and Prudential Securities.
Jim McHugh, a Managing Director in Investment Grade Sales, joins Cantor from MF Global. Previously, he worked as a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Credit Sales at RBC Capital.
Bill Dial joins Cantor as a Managing Director in Investment Grade Credit Products. Mr. Dial previously served as a Managing Director at Knight Capital where he primarily traded chemicals, metals and mining, autos, builders and REITs. Earlier, he served as a Managing Director at Barclays Capital where he oversaw the firm's Cash and CDs group focusing on industrials and autos. Previously, Mr. Dial served as a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank in credit trading.
Research
Elie Radinsky joins Cantor as a Managing Director covering high yield, distressed and bank loan credits focusing on the healthcare, retail and special situations sectors. Most recently, Mr. Radinsky headed the high yield research groups at BTIG and Chapdelaine Credit Partners. Previously, he was a partner at Brigade Capital Management and a Director at Citigroup where he was ranked the #2 healthcare high yield analyst by Institutional Investor magazine.
Grenville Day joins Cantor as a Managing Director covering high yield, distressed and bank loans. Most recently, Mr. Day served as a Distressed and Special Situations Analyst at Citadel Securities where his primary responsibilities included reviewing investing opportunities in bonds and loans and revising investment opportunities. Previously, he served as a distressed and special situations analyst at Chapdelaine Credit Partners and BNP Paribas Securities Corp. and as an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and at the Superior Court of Delaware.
