Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Expands Investment Banking Group
NEW YORK and TORONTO, Aug. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation, part of the leading global financial services firm, Cantor Fitzgerald, L.P., today announced the expansion of its investment banking group with the appointment of David Tomljenovic as Managing Director. Mr. Tomljenovic will focus on Special Situations and providing advisory and capital raising services for high growth companies. He will be based in Toronto and will report to Laurence Rose, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corporation.

Mr. Tomljenovic previously served as Managing Director of investment banking at Beacon Securities. Earlier, he worked as Portfolio Manager of hedge and equity funds at Sprott Asset Management and as a research analyst covering special situations at Clarus Securities. Mr. Tomljenovic holds a LL.M in securities and corporate law from York University, Osgoode Hall Law School, an MBA in Finance and Strategy from University of Toronto, and a B.A. in History and Economics from the University of Western Ontario.
