Cantor Fitzgerald Appoints Global Head of Business Development

NEW YORK, Nov. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading global financial services firm, announced the appointment of Dave Goldfarb as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Business Development.  Mr. Goldfarb is responsible for business and strategic development and expansion of the firm's full service platforms.  Mr. Goldfarb will be based in New York.

Mr. Goldfarb was most recently a Managing Director at Lamco LLC, an asset management business responsible for the wind-down of Lehman Brother's assets and operations. Before that, he held a number of senior roles at Lehman Brothers including Global Head of Strategic Partnerships and Principle Investing. Earlier, he was also a Partner in the Financial Services Group at Ernst & Young.
