Cantor Fitzgerald Hires Leading Market Making ETF Team Led By Reggie Browne, Eric Lichtenstein, and Darren Taube

NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading financial services firm, announced today that it has hired a team of ETF market making specialists led by Reginald M. Browne, Eric D. Lichtenstein and Darren J. Taube.  Messrs. Browne, Lichtenstein and Taube, who have worked together for more than eight years, join Cantor as senior managing directors reporting to Jarred Kessler, Global Head of Equities, from Knight Capital Group, where their team established themselves as leading ETF market makers.

Mr. Browne was previously a Managing Director at Knight Capital Group, leading the ETF team.  He also has served as Co-Head and Senior Vice President in the ETF Index Group at Newedge USA, where he led the global expansion of institutional sales, and has held several leadership roles in other firms.  Mr. Browne received a B.S. in Finance from La Salle University.

Mr. Lichtenstein served as a Managing Director on the ETF team at Knight Capital Group.  Earlier at Newedge USA, he was Co-Head and Senior Vice President in the ETF Index Group, served at Spear, Leeds & Kellogg as a Specialist in the Index Derivatives Group, and co-founded a market-making firm on the American Stock Exchange.  Mr. Lichtenstein received a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University.

Mr. Taube served as a Managing Director on the ETF team for Knight Capital Group.  He was Co-Head and Senior Vice President in the ETF Index Group at Newedge USA, served at Spear, Leeds & Kellogg as a Specialist in the Index Derivatives Group, and co-founded a market-making firm on the American Stock Exchange.  Mr. Taube has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University.
