Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Adds to its Mortgage Sales and Trading Team

NEW YORK, Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading global financial services firm, today announced the continued expansion of its fixed income sales and trading team with the appointment of Jashin Patel and Stephen Gargiulo as Managing Directors.  Mr. Patel will focus on non-agency residential mortgage backed security trading and Mr. Gargiulo will focus on commercial mortgage backed security trading.

Mr. Patel joins Cantor from Deutsche Bank, where he served as a senior trader and Director of Non-Agency RMBS Trading. Mr. Patel holds a B.A. in Microbiology from The University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University.

Mr. Gargiulo joins Cantor from Citigroup, where he served as a Director and Senior CMBS trader in the Global Securitized Markets business.  Earlier, he was a Managing Director in mortgage trading at Bear Stearns.  Mr. Gargiulo holds a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University.
