Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Expands Emerging Markets Team in New York and London

NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., a leading financial services firm, today announced the continued expansion of its Emerging Markets sales and trading team with the appointment of Thomas Blondin as Head of Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa and Dang Bui as Managing Director in the Debt Capital Emerging Markets Group. Mr. Blondin will focus on Sovereign and Corporate Credit, and will establish the group's presence in London, while Mr. Bui will focus on trading in Corporate Latin American credit from New York. They will report to Charles Cortellesi and Erich Bauer-Rowe, Co-Heads of the Emerging Markets Group.

Mr. Blondin joins Cantor from UBS, where he served as Executive Director trading CEEMEA Emerging Market Credits. Earlier, he served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of CEMEA Credit Sales and Trading in the Emerging Markets Division at Macquarie Group, and Director at Citigroup trading CEEMA Emerging Market Credit. Mr. Blondin holds a B.A. of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University.

Mr. Bui joins Cantor from Citibank, where he served as a Director focusing on LATAM trading. He previously served as a corporate trader at Citibank in New York, and distribution in London. Mr.Bui holds a B.A. in International Economics from UCLA and an M.B.A from Cornell University.
